Onde as crianças más vão parar?

Essa lenda conta sobre um fotógrafo libanês que decidiu investigar sobre uma velha série que ele costumava assistir quando era criança, durante a Guerra do Líbano. Ele se lembrava que durante a meia hora de duração dos capítulos, as imagens pareciam táticas de intimidação, para manter as crianças da época sobre controle e evitar que se comportassem mal, uma vez que os episódios giravam em torno do que acontecia às crianças que ficavam acordadas até tarde ou o castigo que os ladrões de geladeira, no meio da madrugada, recebiam.

Mas a cena mais impactante, na opinião do fotógrafo – e a que ele mais se recordava -, era a imagem que fechava cada episódio da série. Isso porque se tratava de um enquadramento que ia se fechando e se aproximando de um porta de ferro, velha e enferrujada, de onde podiam ser ouvidos os gritos se lamentos de várias crianças. Assim, à medida que o zoom e aproximando da porta, mais alto ficava os gritos, até que uma legenda, em árabe, aparecia dizendo: “É onde as crianças más vão parar”.

Depois de meses de investigação, o libanês finalmente conseguiu rastrear o velho estúdio onde a série que marcou sua infância foi gravada. Embora o lugar parecesse abandonado há muitos anos, a porta enferrujada que ele se lembrava estava lá, em um dos cantos do estúdio.

O fotógrafo, então, se aproximou e descobriu que atrás daquela porta – ele pensava ser fictícia -, havia uma quarto, coberto com vestígios de sangue, fezes e com ossos espalhados por todos os cantos. O que mais o assustou, entretanto, foi um microfone, que pendia do telhado do quarto, e ficava suspendo no meio da sala…

This legend tells about a Lebanese photographer who decided to investigate on an old series that he used to watch when I was a kid, during the Lebanon war. He recalled that during the half hour duration of the chapters, the images seemed to scare tactics, to keep children of the time under control and avoid that misbehave, once the episodes revolved around what was happening to the children who stayed up late or the punishment that the fridge in the middle of the night , received.
But the most striking, according to the photographer – and the most remembered-was the image that would close each episode of the series. That's because it was an environment that would be closing and closing of a door of iron, old rusty, where could be heard the screams if laments of several children. So, as the zoom and closing the door, louder was the screaming, until a caption, in Arabic, appeared saying: "that's where the bad kids go stop".
After months of investigation, Lebanese finally managed to track down the old Studio where the series that marked his childhood was recorded. Although the place seemed abandoned for many years, the rusty door that he remembered it was there, in a corner of the Studio.
The photographer then approached and found that behind that door – he thought was fictitious, there was a room, covered with traces of blood, feces and bones scattered all over the place. What scared him most, however, was a microphone, which hung from the roof of the room, and was suspended in the middle of the room.
