Albert Fish nasceu em Washington em 1870. Aos 5 anos ele foi para um orfanato. No orfanato ele tomou um prazer imenso ao ser abusado, o que influenciou sua mente a gostar do sado-masoquismo. Aos 7 anos sua mãe o tirou de lá porque havia conseguido um emprego.Aos 9 ele caiu de uma cerejeira e machucou-se seriamente na cabeça, o que mais tarde causaria dores de cabeça e pequenos problemas mentais.

Em Sing Sing Prison em 16 de janeiro de 1936, Albert fish que descreveu a sentença à morte como “a maior emoção da minha vida”, foi eletrecutado. A primeira carga elétrica falhou por baixo circuito, isso por causa das agulhas que Fish havia inserido em seu corpo por todos aqueles anos. Albert Fish cometeu centenas de abusos sexuais e 16 assassinatos.
